Blue Hyssop

Hyssop is considered an herb, however you will soon see that it makes an attractive flower as well. The plants are often categorized as a mint, producing a strong fragrance which attracts an array of beneficial insects to the garden. Roman Chamomile

Roman Chamomile will produce carpets of low growing plant life, displaying hundreds of thin stems and leaves. The plants form small, white flowers that are accented by bright yellow centers. Each herb will grow to a mature height of roughly 3 to 6 inches tall, and can spread about 9 to 12 inches wide. Peppermint is an ancient heirloom that dates back to as early as 1500 B.C. The herb is thought to have originated from North Africa and the Mediterranean, introduced as a natural hybrid cross, between both spearmint and water mint. Its strong scented leaves are crushed and used to flavor chewing gum, breath mints and teas.
