Moonflowers are beautiful vining plants that produce white and lavender colored blooms through the Summer months. The plants can trail a fence or trellis and are easily grown directly in the garden. They open during the afternoon to late evening. Categorized as an annual flowering vine, these plants will grow to maturity within 1 single growing season. The blooms and the entire vine will later wilt with the first frost.

Moonflower is a beautiful vining plant that produces pure white flowers, that span 6 inches in diameter. Closely related to the Morning Glory, it’s leaves are heart shaped and it’s vines grow to a mature length of 8 to 10 feet long. Grow Moonflower to cover a fence or trellis for delightful blooms that will begin to open in the evening hours of the day.
Lavender Moonflower will produce magnificent, purple colored blooms, which are accented by large, spade shaped leaves. The plants are vines, much like Morning Glories, and will trail along fences and railings. They are also popularly seen covering a trellis, or even pillars and railings, on balconies and porches as well. Lavender Moonflower plants extend outwards, growing to a length of about 8 to 10 feet long.
