It’s petals are jet black, opening to a diameter of about 1 to 2 inches wide. The plants themselves will reach a mature height of 6 to 8 inches tall, spreading about 4 to 6 inches wide.

Wild Petunia is an attractive flowering annual, that develops 1 to 2 inch, magenta colored flowers. It's trumpet shaped blooms reside at the top of attractive green foliage, which grows to a mature height of about 10 to 14 inches tall. Wild Petunia originates in South America and is the parent of many hybrid varieties available today. It is known to attract an array of beneficial insects to the garden, such as butterflies, bumblebees, honeybees & hummingbirds as well.
Categorized as an annual flowering plant in the North and a tender perennial in the south, Wild Petunia will grow quickly from seed in a single season. The plants bloom profusely, later wilting with the first killing frost. Cascade Mixture will produce lovely blooms in shades of blue, lilac, purple, red & white. Lobelia, cascade mixture consists of popular trailing plants, making them perfect for hanging baskets. The plants grow to a mature height of about 6 to 10 inches tall, and spread roughly 10 to 12 inches long. Cascade Mixture not only looks great in hanging pots, but these plants can also be used in pots & containers, on patios and in raised flower beds. Lobelia also makes an excellent addition to many rock gardens as well. Allowing the colorful flowers to trail over the sides of various rocks will produce a dramatic scenery.
