Primrose Seeds

Oenothera, or Primrose wildflowers are native to much of Central and Southern America. The plants produce 1.5 to 2 inch blooms in various shades of white, pink and yellow. The plants often grow to an average height of 20 inches tall, making them a great wildflower for the flower garden. They can also be used in a naturalized setting to attract an array of beneficial insects to the garden as well.

Depending on the variety grown, Primrose flowers can be categorized as annuals or perennials. They are easily established from seed and can readily self seed at the end of the season as well.
