Carpet of Snow Alyssum flowers create a breathtaking blanket of delicate white blooms, transforming gardens and landscapes into a serene, snow-like vista. These low-growing, fragrant perennials thrive in sunny spots, their tiny, star-shaped flowers attracting pollinators like bees and butterflies. Easy to grow and maintain, they spread quickly, forming a lush, ground-hugging mat that softens borders, fills gaps, or cascades over rock walls. Blooming from spring to fall, Carpet of Snow Alyssum adds timeless charm and elegance to any outdoor space.

GROWERS TIP

Alyssum is extremely easy to grow from seed and can be started indoors, or directly outdoors. If starting indoors, sow 3 to 5 seeds per starter pot, 6 to 8 weeks prior to the last frost. Transplant or direct sow in the spring when temperatures are at least 65°F and all danger of frost has passed. Once the plants are well established they are quite drought resistant and deer resistant as well.
