Zinnias seem to have have climbed their way to the top of almost gardeners list, as the most popular cut flower in the world. But would you believe it if we told you that at one time they were seen as the ugliest flower discovered? When the Spanish first came across the Zinnia, they named it "mal de ojos," which simply translates to "Sickness of the eye".
Over years and years of selective breeding, we now have hundreds of strains of Zinnia flowers, including some of the varieties seen below, which can be found in this mixture.

Zinnias make an excellent cut flower and add red, orange, yellow, green, purple, pink, white and bi-colored flowers to the garden. They are popularly used in many floral arrangements and bouquets and also go great in dried arrangements as well. The zinnias within this mixture are known to attract all sorts of beneficial insects to the garden too, such a butterflies, bumblebees, honeybees and hummingbirds.
Zinnias can range in height, but this mixture can grow to a mature height of anywhere between 24 inches and 48 inches tall.
