The Story of Seed Needs
Seed Needs was originally just a username on Ebay way back in 2006! At the age of 15, I was fascinated with making money online and sold seeds as a side hustle. As time went on, I graduated in 2009 with no clear direction in terms of a career choice. I decided to not attend college, as my business and brand grew I eventually gave Amazon a try around 2010. Since then, I have continually worked toward growing Seed Needs into what it is today, a widely recognized brand in the gardening space. I have personally filled tens of millions of seed packets over the past 20 years and take great pride in the products we offer.
I have always had such big plans for the brand and I've sought out ways to help others. It started in my own personal life, with retiring my father, bringing on my mother to help and eventually employing my immediate family, as well as friends and neighbors. Outside of my personal life, I also wanted to do good for the world. I slowly grew my sponsorships for children from just 1 child to over 100 children each and every month through Compassion International. Seed Needs has generously donated to St. Jude children's Hospital, as well as ASPCA and a lot of other smaller charities as well.
Without the love and support of Seed Needs customers, I would not be where I am today. I am so grateful for the opportunity to spread joy through the simple act of gardening. Thank you so much to all who have supported me in my journey thus far and happy gardening!
