Roman Chamomile Herb Seeds For Planting (Anthemus nobilis)
basic information
Roman chamomile (Anthemis nobilis) is a perennial herb with daisy-like flowers and a sweet, apple-like fragrance. Its flowers and leaves are used in teas, ointments, and aromatherapy to promote relaxation, aid digestion, and soothe skin irritations. Compared to German chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla), an annual, Roman chamomile has a milder flavor, lower essential oil content, and is more commonly used in landscaping. German chamomile, with higher azulene content, is preferred for anti-inflammatory and medicinal applications.
